Food Safety Level 1 (FSAI Criteria)
This Food Safety Level 1 training course is designed for all food handlers, particularly those who are new to working with food.
The course introduces participants to food safety and hygiene issues and is based on the criteria set down by the Food Safety Authority of Ireland.
Poor food safety hygiene can result in food poisoning, loss of customers, fines and business closure.
Good personal hygiene, good handwashing practice and safe handling of food, is essential to running a successful food business.
This training course also deals with allergen awareness, and law enforcement in regard to food safety in Ireland.
Certification is for 3 years
